Hydroxypropyl Starch Phosphate. StarDesign™ Care by Cargill is a readily biodegradable sensory enhancer, texturizer, thickening- and consistency agent without soaping effect. It is designed for creating creamy & rich textures such as gel, cream, paste & butter. It is nature-derived from waxy corn (maize). It provides matte effect and high absorption capacity of water & oils.

It allows great pick up, easy spreading and fast penetration onto the skin.
It is a slightly anionic, cold/hot processable and cold soluble ingredient.
StarDesign™ Care is suitable for formulating skin- & hair care, cleansers, color cosmetics and deodorants.
It shows compatibility with sodium chloride & alcohol, and synergy with xanthan gum to increase foam quality & quantity.
It is IECIC listed, Kosher and Halal certified.
It has a shelf life of 24 months.
