Aluminum Starch Octenylsuccinate. StarDesign™ 05340 by Cargill is a slightly anionic, hot/cold processable, irradiated sensory enhancer. It is an oil absorbing powder with a high flowability and high hydrophobicity. It contains polysaccharide granules extracted from corn.

It offers an extra powdery after-feel and extra matt finish.
It improves smoothness & penetration in the skin and reduces greasiness & tackiness.
StarDesign™ 05340 is suitable for formulating skin- & sun care products, color cosmetics, dry shampoo and hair styling spray.
It is also used in sprayable- & loose powder, compact/pressed powder, lotion, cream and butter.
It is readily biodegradable, IECIC listed, Vegan suitable, Kosher and Halal certified.
It has a shelf life of 24 months.
