Natural Emulsifying Wax TW8452

Beeswax, sodium stearoyl lactylate, glycerol stearate and stearic acid. Acts as an emulsifier. It forms an extensive lamellar liquid crystal structure in the aqueous phase of the emulsion. This structure lowers interfacial tension and suspends oil droplets resulting in extremely efficient product stabilization. TW8452 performs the role of a skin like membrane thus retaining skin moisture and increasing active resistance. Used in sun protective products containing sunscreens, skin care products for eyes and face including night creams, baby care cosmetics, o/w emulsions without preserving agents, o/w emulsions based on pure, natural/vegetable sources, o/w emulsions with special characteristics i.e. rich smooth after feel, fast skin affinity etc.
