Polyquaternium-39. iQUAT 39 by BIOALKEMIA is a cationic copolymer compatible with cationic guar gum, cationic hydroxyl ethyl cellulose and betaine. It is recommended as a conditioner in shampoo. It is compatible with water, anionic and non-ionic surfactants forming salt complexes to increase viscosity. These properties make it suitable for cosmetic products. It offers excellent wetting, soft and conditioning properties. It provides moisturization, luster, flowing, velvety feel and slip feel. It is used in hair care products such as curl activators, dyes, shampoos, conditioners, styling products and permanent waves. iQUAT 39 is also applicable in skincare products like moisturizing creams, lotions, bath gels, liquid soaps, soap bars, shaving, antiperspirants, deodorants and sun block products. Recommended shelf life is 24 months.
