Silmer® QT9-30-CG

Polymethylsilesquioxane (and) Isododecane. Silmer® QT9-30-CG by Siltech is silicone resin dissolved to 70% actives in isododecane. Its unique structure provides excellent transfer resistance to both water-based and oil-based formulations. It is especially formulated to bloom to the surface of color cosmetics and skin care products to provide a barrier with maximum non-transfer properties. It offers soft & silky feel, smoothness and moderate improvement in hardness to lipsticks. Silmer® QT9-30-CG is recommended for use in eye-stays, lip-glosses, O/W mascaras, O/W foundations, concealers and sunscreens. It has a shelf life of 24 months from date of manufacture. This grade is listed in TSCA, DSL, AICS, IECSC, ENCS, KECI, TCSI, NZIoC and PICCS inventories.
