Bis-Hydroxypropyl Dimethicone/SMDI Copolymer. Silmer® UR-5050 by Siltech is a 45% active, high molecular weight silicone urethane resin diluted in isododecane. It is used as silicone barrier and film former to impart water repellency and softness. It is suitable for transfer resistant lipsticks, cosmetics creams, shampoos and conditioners. The recommended shelf life of Silmer® UR-5050 is 48 months from date of manufacture.
