C13-16 Isoalkane (formerly C13-16 Isoparaffin) (and) Dimethicone. Harmonie™ Silken E gum by Momentive Performance Materials is an ultra-high molecular weight silicone gum. It provides conditioning, shine, heat protection, frizz and improved sof, silky sensory properties on hair as well as cushion, spreadability and wash-off resistance. Formulated with a renewable, plant-derived carrier, it is alternative to silicone gum blends based on petroleum hydrocarbons or low molecular weight dimethicones.

Offers improved wet and dry combing, frizz control and soft after-feel to hair care products.
Harmonie™ Silken E gum is used in foundations, body lotions, creams, and butters, sunscreen, creams and lotions, conditioners (leave on & rinse off), lip products, daily wear SPF and facial serum.
