UV Cut TiO₂-55-CG

Titanium Dioxide (and) Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride (and) Stearic Acid (and) Alumina (and) Polyhydroxystearic Acid. UV Cut TiO2-55-CG by Grant Industries is a 55% dispersion of ultrafine titanium dioxide in ester oil. Offers both UVA (320-400nm) and UVB (280-320nm) protection, transparent look with water-resistant properties. Improved photo-stability and lower irritation profile compared to chemical sunscreen agents caprylic/capric Triglyceride is naturally-derived so considered a “green” emollient good solvent for organic sunscreens. Can be formulated into oil-in-water emulsions, water-in-oil emulsions, and anhydrous systems. Can be combined with UV Cut ZnO-68-CG for optimal sun protection. It's stable viscosity and non-settling properties make it desired for the production process. UV Cut TiO2-55-CG is used in sun care, skin care, color cosmetic and hair care formulations.
