Noigen 5248

Glyceryl Stearate (and) PEG-100 Stearate. Noigen 5248 by Dai-ichi is a versatile, non-ionic surfactant blend. It acts as a universal emulsifier to produce highly stable oil-in-water emulsions. It is especially suitable for high oil-phase non-polar components such as liquid paraffin. It forms a meta stable emulsion (by itself) in water. Noigen 5248 is used in nourishing creams & lotions, eliminating the need of other emulsifiers. Recommended for various skin-, baby-, hair care and color cosmetics. It is referred to as acid-stable GMS and is used in mildly acidic products.
