Dimethicone. Cor-Sil 201-20 by Cornelius is a low viscosity, non-irritating, non-toxic, volatile polydimethylsiloxane carrier. It is clear, non-greasy, non-occlusive and non-stinging on skin. It shows low reactivity and low surface tension. It provides good insulation, good heat stability and leveling properties. It is directly used by mixing with oil phase in formulations. It can be used in the skin care products for a high affinity with skin to obtain silk like smooth feel. It offers excellent dispersibility and compatibility. It enhances the long-lasting performance of other active ingredients on skin. Cor-Sil 201-20 has shelf life of 12 months.
