CI 74260 is an oil-soluble mineral powder used as a colorant in cosmetics i.e. added in order to change or enhance the color in various cosmetics, make up & personal care products such as nail polishes, adult toothpastes, soaps.
Safety profile
CI 74260 is restricted for use in Europe (IV/107). It is also allowed in all cosmetics except those used around the eyes. According to UN GHS, it is harmful in contact with skin (H312), causes serious eye irritation (H319), may cause respiratory irritation (H335).
