Consumers choose fragranced products mainly by the “top notes”. These first, dominating characters of the fragrance primarily influence the purchase decision. Adding longevity to the fragrance prolongs the “fresh from the bottle” experience, which consumers appreciate and leads to increased brand loyalty. Finding a single additive to provide increased longevity to a wide range of fragrance families without affecting the fragrance character has been a challenge for formulators. Register to watch this webinar to learn how longevity in fine fragrance can be obtained with Eastman Sustane CG 200 fragrance fixative. The product is a specially formulated sucrose acetate isobutyrate (SAIB) derived from sugarcane and formulated with ethanol in an easy-to-handle liquid. Sustane CG 200 interacts with molecules in fragrance mixtures to lower vapor pressure and slow down evaporation. It is especially beneficial for formulations with lower fragrance oil content such as eau de toilette and body spray. Testing data in alcoholic formulations, formulation recommendations and product properties & safety will be all be covered during the webinar.
