Stearic Acid. DUB AC 18 - 95% by Stearinerie Dubois is a fatty alcohol emollient and wax. It acts as an emulsifier in formulations to increase the viscosity of products such as hair conditioners and lotions.

Depending on the concentration used, a thick or light formulation can be obtained.
It creates a skin barrier that helps repair the altered lipid structure in the skin due to its natural fatty acid content.
By repairing the lipid barrier, the skin can better retain moisture and reduce water loss to the environment which dries the skin.
It also soothes and softens the skin.
DUB AC 18 - 95% is used in creams, lotions, lubricants, soaps and conditioners.
