AC-PCP

Potassium Cetyl Phosphate. AC-PCP by SOHO ANECO Chemicals is a ready to use, anionic oil/water emulsifier and stabilizer. It is an analog of the natural phospholipids in the skin. It overcomes imbalances in HLB emulsifier values. This ingredient supports small droplet sizes. It offers good spreadability on skin and pleasant skin feeling. It is easier to use than polyacrylic acid in emulsion manufacturing, without dispersion, wetting problems or fish eyes in solution. It shows good stability with a broad variety of oil blends and water-resistant sun protection. It is used to prepare cost-effective, homogeneous and stable emulsions over a wide pH range (4–9), but preferably at the pH of the skin (pH 5.5–5.8). Because it is used at low levels, it is well-suited for the development of quality stable water-resistant sun care products. AC-PCP is used in skin care formulations.
