Hydroxypinacolone Retinoate. AC-HPR by SOHO ANECO Chemicals is a new regeneration direct acting retinol. It is the new type of vitamin A derivative that can be effective without transformation. This highly stable ingredient slows down the decomposition of collagen, and make the whole skin tend to be younger. It can promote keratin metabolism, clear pores and treat acne, improve skin roughness, brighten skin tone reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. It can well bind with the protein receptors in cells and promote the division and regeneration of skin cells. It provides very low irritation, enhanced activity and improved stability. It is synthesized by tretinoin and the small molecule pinacol. It is easy to formulate (oil-soluble) and is safe/mild to use on skin and around the eyes. This ingredient can be formulated into oil-in-water & water-in-oil emulsions and other formula types, such as emulsions, serums and anhydrous systems, add to the oil phase of all emulsions, neutral pH. It has available in two variants, pure powder (AC-HPR) and 10% Solution (AC-HPR-S10). AC-HPR is used in skin care, color cosmetic and body care formulations. Recommended in night time application, co-formulated other active ingredients, photostabilizers, and even sunscreens for daily wear. The shelf life of this product is 12 months from the date of manufacture.
