ABWAX® ACTIWAX SUN

Cera Alba (and) Helianthus Annuus Seed Cera. Acts as a consistency agent with good gelling behavior, emollient and film former. It is the wax fraction of sunflower seeds oil, naturally resulting from pressing the seeds. It is composed of hydrocarbons, sterol esters, triterpenic alcohols and linear esters. It has a high melting point and improves oils absorption & formulation cohesion. It is naturally rich in vegetable squalene and tocopherol (vitamin E) which allows it to increase skin defenses, being active as antioxidant and anti-aging, reducing cellular degeneration and cutaneous dehydration, and improving skin elasticity. Used in rich creams, lipsticks and body balms.
