PEG-8. ULTRAPEG® 400 by Oxiteno acts as a solubilizer, vehicle, humectant, perfume fixative, consistency agent, conditioning agent, viscosity regulator and anti-static agent. It is made up of ethylene oxide polymers.

It is a hygroscopic polymer, highly soluble in water due to the hydrophilic characteristic provided by the polyoxyethylene chain.
ULTRAPEG® 400 is used in creams and lotions moisturizers, make up products, shampoo, hair sprays and soaps.
