Colorona® Tibetan Ochre

Iron Oxide (CI 77491) (and) Mica (CI 77019) (and) Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891). Colorona® Tibetan Ochre by Merck KGaA, Darmstadt Germany is a metallescent sparkling pigment with coral-red color. It is a lustrous powder composed of natural mica substrate coated with iron oxide and titanium dioxide whose color effect is determined by the thickness of the iron oxide layer.

  • It is used in color cosmetics where a metallic pearl, frost or glitter effect is desired.
