Ethylhexyl pelargonate. Schercemol™ OPG ester by Lubrizol acts as a non-oily emollient ester with fast absorbency and a dry feel. In antiperspirants, it is used as an anti-clogging agent. In skin creams and after-shaves, it provides very soft luxurious feeling. It is also used to reduce glazing in pressed powders and increases payoff in stick products. Schercemol™ OPG ester is used in color cosmetics and facial care products.
