Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer. Carbopol® SC-800 polymer by Lubrizol is a surfactant and thickening agent which is a hydrophobically modified cross-linked polyacrylic acid polymer.
  • It acts as a rheology modifier which has been optimized with the best thickening efficiency to provide efficient viscosity, long-term thermal stability, suspension properties and excellent clarity.
  • It has been balanced with crosslinker levels, hydrophobic content and surface modification to process in challenging systems with ease.
  • It is versatile & easily allows to create unique aesthetics in skin cleansing formulations like suspending natural beads, scrubs & other elements and possesses the lather quality for rinse-off beauty solutions.
  • It has broad compatibility with various systems and its INCI name has been CFDA-listed.
  • Carbopol® SC-800 polymer is used in mild & sulfate/amide-free- & low-surfactant formulations such as shower gels, hand- & body wash, shampoos and facial cleansers.
