PEA LES COMPLEX

Technical Datasheet | Supplied by Kelisema
Pisum Sativum (Pea) Protein & Sodium Laureth Sulfate. Acts as a conditioning active. It is a solution of non-hydrolysed pisum sativum native proteins in their original molecular size: solubility and stability are achieved by complexation with the anionic sodium laureth sulfate. It is a vehicle for introducing in personal hygiene formulations non-hydrolyzed, long chain proteins which are insoluble in the folded native form. These high molecular weight vegetable polymers show excellent protection against surfactant irritancy, confer smoothness to the skin and prevent swelling of the hair strand during cleansing. Exhibits a particular conditioning effect on damaged hair during cleansing if used in combination with anionic surfactants especially with sodium laureth sulfate and also in combination with amphoteric and non-ionic surfactants. Its utilization could avoid the use of strong conditioning substances which are irritating on sensitive scalps. Used in skin care and hair care products.
