Cyclopentasiloxane (and) Polysilicone-11 (and) Beeswax. Gransil MLB by Grant Industries is a volatile elastomer dispersion in cyclopentasiloxane (D5). It provides enhanced aesthetics to formulations and acts as stable delivery vehicle for active materials and also acts as a thickening agent for emulsions and anhydrous systems. It delivers excellent non-tacky, non-oily and smooth characteristics. Its elastomer network offers sebum absorption and control. Also helps in transformation into matte appearance with powdery after feel. It can be formulated into oil-in-water emulsions, water-in-oil emulsions and anhydrous systems. Gransil MLB is used in skin care, color cosmetic, sun care and hair care formulations. It is particularly useful for matte mousse foundations where a sponge texture is desired. It is also used in both cold mix and hot pour processes.
