Phenylpropanol. Kalama® 3-Phenyl Propanol, F.C.C. by LANXESS (previously Emerald Kalama Chemical) acts as a fragrance ingredient, emollient, moisturizing agent and processing aid. It enhances cleansing powder and make-up removal properties. It improves formulation stability and synergy with sodium benzoate to boost anti-microbial activity. It is used in perfumes, personal care and cosmetics applications. It has a shelf life of 12 months.
