PEG-12 Dimethicone. PURESIL™ PEG 12 DM E6 by Elkem Silicones is a water-soluble, silicone polyether-based foam booster, stabilizer, plasticizing- and wetting agent. It is also used as a co-emulsifier for sensitive products. It provides emolliency benefits and light conditioning for water-based hair products.

It enhances silky skin feel and imparts lubricity to hair and skin.
It is used in bath & shower formulations, shampoos & rinse-off conditioners, shaving foams and gels.
It is also used in skin care such as facial creams, body lotions & make-up removers, and in make-up products such as foundations & BB creams.
The shelf life of PURESIL™ PEG 12 DM E6 is 18 months.
