Trifluoropropyl Dimethicone. PURESIL™ TFL 30 by Elkem Silicones is a low viscosity fluoro-modified silicone-based emollient. It imparts sensory enhancement and boosts SPF. It readily spreads over skin & hair, creating an effortless rub out and play time with light feel to the touch. It offers smooth & slip skin feel, long-lasting hydration as well as enhanced transfer-, water- and oil resistance. It possesses low surface tension, oleophobicity, hydrophobicity & distinctive tactile characteristics. Provides wearability against sweat and sebum which is essential for active indoor and outdoor lifestyle. It reduces damage from thermal styling. It provides very good pigment dispersion, even coverage and improved film integrity. PURESIL™ TFL 30 is used in make-up such as concealers, foundations, make-up bases, cream blushes, cream eyeshadows and lipsticks. It is also ideal for skin care (skin serums, moisturizers, anti-aging products) and sun care such as sun protection (cream & lotions), suntan lotions. It is recommended for hair care such as leave-in conditioners, spray and styling products. The shelf life of this grade is 24 months.
