Stearalkonium Bentonite. CLAYTONE® VZ V by Eckart acts as a thickening and suspending agent. It is an organoclay, obtained by organic modification of natural bentonite.
  • It is designed to increase viscosity, impart thixotropic flow behavior and control syneresis in cosmetic & personal care products.
  • After activation, it provides high thickening efficiency over a wide range of medium to high polar fluids (oil and solvent phases).
  • It can also be used as an auxiliary emulsifier in water-in-oil emulsion systems.
  • CLAYTONE® VZ V is used in formulating personal care products such as creams & lotions, sun care products & antiperspirants, and in color cosmetics such as liquid make-up, lipsticks, cream eye shadows and nail polishes.
  • It is vegan and is compatible with surfactants & emulsifiers.
  • It has a shelf life of 60 months.
