C30-45 Alkyldimethylsilyl Polypropylsilsesquioxane. DOWSIL™ SW-8005 C30 Resin Wax by Dow is a semi-occlusive structuring agent for sticks, especially lipsticks. It also acts as a rheology & texture modifier for oil-in-water & water-in-oil emulsions and anhydrous gels. It combines the physical and chemical characteristics of silicone wax with silicone resin such as improved non-transfer. It offers broad compatibility with fragrances, organic and silicone materials. It provides wash-off resistance, gloss, coverage, color uniformity and intensity. DOWSIL™ SW-8005 C30 Resin Wax finds application in formulating color cosmetics and skin-, sun- & hair care products. It is non-GMO and Vegan suitable. It has a shelf life of 24 months.
