DOWSIL™ PF-2520 Elastomer Emulsion

Dimethicone (and) Dimethicone/Vinyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer (and) PEG-20 Sorbitan Cocoate. DOWSIL™ PF-2520 Elastomer Emulsion by Dow acts as a sensory enhancer (smooth feel) and carrier. It is a 63% non-ionic emulsion containing silicone elastomer particle dispersed in dimethicone. It facilitates the incorporation of an elastomeric powder in fluid into water-based silicone powder or cosmetic products. It is cold processable and provides very good spreadability, ease of formulation and rich & silky feel. It is preserved with phenoxyethanol and chlorphenesin. DOWSIL™ PF-2520 Elastomer Emulsion finds application in formulating skin-care products, color cosmetics, sun-care, body-washes, facial masks, shampoos and leave-in & rinse-off conditioners. The shelf life of the product is 360 days.
