DOWSIL™ FC-5002 IDD Resin Gum

Isododecane (and) Trimethylsiloxysilicate/Dimethiconol Crosspolymer. DOWSIL™ FC-5002 IDD Resin Gum acts as a film former. It is made of 40% of trimethylsiloxysilicate/dimethiconol crosspolymer dissolved in isododecane. After evaporation of isododecane, the silicone polymer forms a film on skin. It provides durability, water & sebum repellency, color intensity/uniformity, long-lasting, non-occlusive, comfortable and flexible films. It is suitable for pigmented formulations. DOWSIL™ FC-5002 IDD RESIN finds application in formulating color cosmetic and personal-care products. It has a shelf life of 1800 days.
