DOWSIL™ 9045 Silicone Elastomer Blend

Cyclopentasiloxane (and) Dimethicone Crosspolymer. DOWSIL™ 9045 Silicone Elastomer Blend by Dow acts as a thickening agent for water-in-oil and water-in-silicone formulations & silicone fluids. It is a cross-linked silicone elastomer gel, containing high molecular weight silicone elastomer in cyclopentasiloxane. It offers sebum absorption, sensory enhancement, increased glide, reduced syneresis, shine, enhanced spreadability, matte appearance and reduced greasiness.

• It provides dry smoothness, quick absorption and light, silky & non-greasy skin feel.
• It enhances the aesthetic of volatile silicones, reduces tackiness and offers no balling effect when rubbed on the skin.
• It is cold-processable and improves fragrance retention.
