DOWSIL™ 593 Fluid

Dimethicone (and) Trimethylsiloxysilicate. DOWSIL™ 593 Fluid by Dow is an emollient and film-forming agent. It is a combination of polydimethylsiloxane and high molecular weight silicone resin. It contains MQ resin blend as functionality. It offers soft film, good barrier properties, improved wash-off resistance, long-lasting substantivity with less slipperiness and lubricity. It provides frizz control, increased payout, reduced white residue and wash-off-, rub- & matt resistance. DOWSIL™ 593 Fluid finds application in formulating color cosmetics (lipsticks), skin- & sun-care protective creams and lotions. It is non-GMO, Halal and Vegan suitable. It has a shelf life of 30 months.
