Benzyl Alcohol. Elixi-KON BZA by Connect Chemicals is a solvent and preservative with low toxicity and low volatility. It is effective against a wide range of microorganisms including gram+ and gram- bacteria, fungi, and yeasts. It is often used to help prevent the growth of microorganisms and extend the shelf life of the product. It can help dissolve other ingredients and improve the spreadability of products.

It offers headspace protection and antimicrobial properties.
It is compatible in all types of formulations: anionic, non-ionic and cationic.
It can be used in combination with other preservatives or boosters to extend preservation.
Due to its pleasant, sweet, floral aroma, it can help to mask the smell of other ingredients.
It can be added at room or elevated temperature and at any time during the manufacturing process, used as bacteriostatic preservative.
Recommended for fragrances, skin care, makeup, sun care, hair care, toiletries, oral care and baby care.
It is compatible for use in COSMOS formulations.
It has a shelf life of 12 months.
