Benzoic Acid. Elixi-KON BA by Connect Chemicals is a preservative and pH adjuster. It is effective against a wide range of microorganisms including bacteria, fungi and yeasts. It is often used to help prevent the growth of microorganisms and to extend the shelf life of a product. It can be used as a standalone or in combination with other preservative agents.

It has a little impact on formulation viscosity.
Recommended for facial cleansing wipes, makeup removing wipes, baby cleansing wipes, shampoo, mouthwash and skin care.
Elixi-KON BA is ECOCERT, COSMOS and NATRUE allowed.
It has a shelf life of 12 months.
