Emultop™ Velvet IP

Lecithin (and) Glycine Soja Oil. Emultop™ Velvet IP by Cargill is a readily biodegradable, cold processible emulsifier and O/W co-emulsifier. It is derived from non-GM soy which contains various phospholipids. It improves bioavailability of hydrophilic active ingredients by helping them to cross the lipidic barrier of the skin.
  • It creates a velvety and smooth touch, leaving no soaping effect in applications including skin care, hair care, color cosmetics, and cleansers.
  • It is also used as a pigment dispersion aid, and a fluidifying agent when combined with StarDesign™ Power.
  • It is sensitive to salts and shows best performance in combination with polar to medium polar emollients.
  • It prevents the crystallization of waxes and butter.
  • Emultop™ Velvet IP is suitable for fluid formulations from serum to light gel-cream and non-sticky milk.
  • It is IECIC listed, Vegan suitable, Ecocert, COSMOS, Halal and Kosher certified.
  • It has a shelf life of 24 months.
