Behenyl/Oleyl Behenate/Oleate Esters. BotaniButter™ by Cargill is a creamy wax emollient. It offers an elegant sensory experience, both at application and at dry down, making it an excellent natural alternative to silicone wax in various formulations. It is biodegradable and reduces the appearance of redness in irritated skin.

• It exhibits exceptional silky soft feel without leaving waxy dry feel on the skin, super smooth spreadability and helps to maintain skin hydration.
• Provides super smooth spreadability and improved barrier protection & repair.
• It is derived from glycine max, Elaeis guineensis (palm), Brassica napus (rapeseed) and Brassica juncea (mustard).
• It has good oxidative stability as compared to the silicone wax benchmark.
• Its unique melting point that is right above the skin temperature allows it to melt immediately after the application and gives pleasant shine on lips after application.
