VERSAGEL® MN 1600

Isononyl Isononanoate (and) Ethylene/Propylene/Styrene Copolymer (and) Butylene/Ethylene/Styrene Copolymer. VERSAGEL® MN 1600 by Calumet Specialty Products Partners is a silky conditioning gel. It creates a film barrier for added moisturization, delivers superior stabilization and suspension properties. This ingredient provides enhanced fragrance retention, waterproofing properties, versatility and a distinctive, elegant feel. The polymer system provides lubricity and conditioning, while the ester base, isononyl isononanoate, offers non-greasy emolliency. It exhibits good thermal & UV stability and silicone solubilization. The gel is compatible with most non-ionic surfactants, cyclomethicone, phenyl trimethicone, and other synthetic & natural emollients. VERSAGEL® MN 1600 is used in color cosmetic products like lipstick, lip polish, lip stain, lip gloss, lip balm, eye shadow, brow shadow & bronzer, foundation. It is also suitable for skin care products such as depilatory cream, scrubs/exfoliators, serums, moisturizers, creams & lotions and sunblock/sunscreen.
