Dimethicone (and) Trisiloxane. BRB 1417 by BRB International BV is a cost-effective, low-viscosity linear silicone fluid. It possesses fast evaporation rate, low surface tension and unique volatility profile. This fast-volatile carrier imparts soft silky feel to hair & skin and reduces tack & whiteness in antiperspirant & deodorant formulations. Due to its low heat of vaporization, it offers non-cooling effect on skin. It is an effective alternative for low molecular weight linear or cyclic to obtain different volatility and/or solubility benefits. BRB 1417 finds application in skin and hair care formulations.
