Iodopropynyl Butylcarbamate. Glycacil® L by Arxada is a preservative and fungistatic active. In a surfactant-based formula, it is added at any step in compounding procedure and at any temperature. In an emulsion type formula, it is added into the oil phase at a temperature of 45°C. It can also be pre-solubilized in the surfactant component, as well as in a combination of water and polar components. Glycacil® L is suggested for wipes, rinse-off, leave-on and oral care products.
