Propanediol (and) Rheum Rhaponticum (Rhubarb) Root Extract (and) Aqua. Rhapontic Rhubarb Extract by Alfa Chemistry is a GMO-free restoring and moisturizing agent. It contains rhaponticin and hydroxystilbenes which increase the levels of filaggrin and involucrin that are known to improve the cohesion of the stratum corneum and the barrier function of the skin.
