Gelest Sericite AS

Mica (CI 77019) (and) Polycaprylylsilsesquioxane. Gelest Sericite AS by Gelest is a caprylyl treated pigment. It is coated with an alkyl functional silsesquioxane which provides a hydrophobic coating that increases the ease of particle dispersion in natural and synthetic fluids. It helps to stabilize particles in emulsion systems. It improves wear on the skin and decreases oil absorption. It is applicable in BB creams, foundations, pressed powders and hot pours products. Gelest Sericite AS has a shelf life of 5 years. This product is discontinued and is replaced by Gelest Sericite TC.
