EE 374

Polyethyleneglycol oleate. EE 374 by eChem acts as a surfactant and emulsifier. Offers good wetting and dispersion properties along with low foaming tendency. It is manufactured by reacting a polyethylene glycol with oleic acid. The polyethylene glycol comprises the hydrophilic part of the surfactant and the fatty acid the lipophilic part. It is water soluble. It is hydrolyzed under hot alkaline conditions. EE 374 is an alternative to nonylphenol ethoxylates. Recommended for cosmetic creams and toiletry emulsions.
