EE 364

Polyethyleneglycol oleate. EE 364 by eChem acts as a surfactant and emulsifier. It is hydrolyzed under hot alkaline conditions. It is an alternative to nonylphenol ethoxylates. It is manufactured by reacting a polyethylene glycol with oleic acid. The polyethylene glycol comprises the hydrophilic part of the surfactant and the fatty acid the lipophilic part. It is oil soluble. Offers good wetting and dispersion properties along with low foaming tendency. EE 364 is recommended for cosmetic creams and toiletry emulsions.
