Sebo CoCare KPG02 is a naturally extracted and complex ingredient for skin with acne and seborrheic tendency. It is used as a cleansing, astringent, anti-irritating, anti-inflammatory, and acne-regulating agent.
The pathogenesis of acne vulgaris is multi-factorial and involves four main pathways. These include the following:
- excess sebum production by androgen-mediated stimulation of sebaceous glands,
- abnormal keratinization of the follicles leading to plugging and comedone formation,
- Propionibacterium acnes colonization,
- inflammation of the follicle and surrounding dermis.
This ingredient is used for oily and mixed skin with acne tendencies.
