As an independent consultant, and also as an officer of The Society of Cosmetic Chemists, my responsibilities force me to do a lot of traveling. And in doing so much traveling, much of which is flying, I am forced to do a lot of reading just so I don't go crazy with boredom. So in my travels I come across a lot of interesting stuff. Sometimes I am very lucky and come across a piece in a magazine or a newspaper that pertains to the business we are in, or is very closely related to it. I do look at beauty publications as often as I can to see where the latest trends may be headed and what direction the industry is moving towards. But sometimes there are other topics that can have special interest.
I came across one such article on a recent trip up to Montreal, Canada to install the 2007 Quebec SCC Chapter officers. The article was in the December issue of Delta Airlines' Sky Magazine and it had to do with health care approximately 20 years in the future. So what does this have to do with cosmetics you say?
