There are certain things that are the driving factors in launching a cosmetic product. Different companies have different views on what the most important factor is in positioning a novel product on the counter and competing with other companies. The SpecialChem Community was asked to respond to the question "What is the most important characteristic a cosmetic company would look for in a product launch?" and select what think is the most important characteristic when launching that new product. This question, with no surprise, had a very large response from the Community – almost 300 responses, and it could have even gone higher.
