Cosmetics for Men – Growth in a Global Market

One of the best ways to show the growth of the men's cosmetics market is to evaluate it on a global basis. In recent presentations I have indicated that the growth in some strategic markets of the entire cosmetics industry is on par with that of the rest of the world.This is also true for the men's cosmetics market. Although the men's market is smaller in emerging markets, it still shows the same growth rate and future potential as some of the larger, more established markets.I have recently had to evaluate the men's market in Latin America and found that the growth there is steady and being supported by many of the multi-nationals that are positioning themselves in the very important growing market. Many products see popularity being placed in malls, airports, duty-free, specialty shops and kiosks. This seems to be the growing trend for many products since many business men travel and at the same time must look good for meetings and the like. In the course of their travels they are exposed more and more to products that are specifically targeted towards them...
