Here we are again. One of the biggest, if not the biggest, cosmetics ingredient trade shows outside of In-Cosmetics. Held yearly, The Society of Cosmetic Chemists New York Chapter Suppliers' Day is the show that everyone, including myself, looks forward to -- a 2-day extravaganza showing off the latest trends in raw materials, packaging, equipment and services. It has something for everyone and that's why everyone attends, if not for the two days, at least one. It grows larger every year and the New Jersey Convention Center is already at its full capacity with over 700 exhibitors. And the attendance? Well the final figures aren't in yet but even with today's sluggish economy, the number of attendees and exhibitors was once again well over the 5000 mark. The theme for this year's show was fittingly "Innovate for a Greener World", a subject we hear about almost every day. With many companies promoting "green chemistry", this should be a show where everything natural and sustainable will be available for almost any application...
