Eastman Sustane™ is a range of sucrose-based adhesion promoters used in cosmetics formulations to improve adhesion on fingernails, skin, and hair. Eastman Chemical Company offers a variety of low-viscosity Eastman Sustane™ SAIB blends for personal care and cosmetics applications.

When used as plasticizers, hey offer improved film flexibility and adhesion in solvent-based nail lacquers and wear properties in lipsticks. They are also used as fragrance fixative to retard evaporation and promote the long-lasting aroma of perfumes.
