Polyacrylate-18 (and) Polyacrylate-19. SYNTRAN® PC 5117 by Zschimmer & Schwarz acts as a film former. It has been designed to quickly impart hold for hair styling aids, skin care products and low VOC formulations. The ability of SYNTRAN® PC 5117 to set quickly under high humidity conditions and in hydro/alcohol formulations makes it a viable alternative to current resins. Exhibits curl retention and forms clear, flexible, non-flaking films.
