Ethyl Ascorbic Acid by YR Chemspec is an excellent skin-whitening agent. It is an etherfied derivative of vitamin C widely used in the cosmetic industry. It penetrates the skin where it is metabolized to ascorbic acid. Due to this process, its efficacy is more pronounced than that of pure ascorbic acid.

It does not cause irritation to the skin or eyes and helps in collagen synthesis and the recovery of damaged collagen.
It also exhibits excellent anti-aging effects and offers protection against sun damage.
It inhibits the activity of tyrosinase by acting on Cu2+ and it prevents the synthesis of melanin.
It shows a very good stability in all kinds of cosmetic formulations.
Ethyl Ascorbic Acid can effectively remove dark spots, discoloration and copper ions of tyrosinase.
